Gaynor and Alun Williams welcome you to stay at our home at Whiddon Down within the beautiful Dartmoor National Park. One large double
with contemporary en-suite with shower over a bath for two. A bunk bedded room is adjacent, and both rooms face away from the road.
Drinks tray and flat screen tv in the double, plus a large modern guest sitting room with television. Guests are very welcome in the garden.

We offer livery for guests who wish to bring your own horse. Grazing with our horses. Haylage and hard feed, and a safe area for tack.
Riding is down quiet country lanes straight onto the open Moorland where you can canter onto high ground or wander where you will.

This is a good central area for touring Devon. We are between the North and South coasts, and the A30 down into Cornwall is within half a mile. Ask us to recommend good local eating places all within a 10 minute drive and our village pub, the Post Inn, is just a minute's walk.

Maps are available to explore the area, along with packed lunches. Plenty of off-road parking is available.

We are the closest bed and breakfast to Chagstock. Held in neighbouring fields. 40 acres of festival with great bands and folk.
Chagford Show a great family day out with horses, dog show, zorbs, food hall, vintage tractors, terrier racing etc.
